It’s a top-spot battle on Sunday as Rangers welcome league rivals Glasgow City to Auchenhowie. The visitors have dominated Scottish football for 13 years, and now is the chance for the Gers to re-write the script. Just three points behind, Rangers need to win in order to keep their title dream alive. With players like Hay and Cornet being given new contracts, they’ll be out to stamp a new era with the club with an all-important win. Two massive clubs coming together with a point to prove - it can only mean a great watch is on the cards.

Since that blowing defeat at Celtic Park, Malky Thomson has led his side to a double-win streak against Forfar and Motherwell. The response from the squad has been to be ‘relentless’ - by scoring goals from the first whistle to the last. The title race could go all the way to the end, so goal difference is important when the chances come. All season Rangers have been a pleasure to watch. They’ve taken the term ‘playing the Rangers way’ and ran with it. Goals, goals, and more goals.

Glasgow City

As expected, the reigning champions have come out in full force this season in the bid to protect their title. Their last defeat came at the hands of Rangers back in December and they’ve been on top form since. That 5-0 display from their city-sharing rivals was enough to fuel a winning streak to now see them sit first in the table. Like Rangers, they like to win games with as much of a scoring margin as possible. Last week seen them in an unfamiliar fashion. Conceding a goal and their goalkeeper being sent off meant they put themselves under pressure against Spartans. In Motherwell that day, Rangers went home with six goals and a clean sheet.
