Gazza was nothing short of outstanding at times during his Ibrox career; a real character and an even better footballer. Perhaps the most vivid non-football memory of him was the bleached blonde hair. It swept the nation. Everyone at school had the Gazza hairdo as his signing certainly captured the imagination. His two goals in the Coca Cola Cup final after the half-time argument with McCoist are the most vivid in my memory. One-twos around the Hearts box passing the ball into the bottom corner. And no one can forget his legendary hat-trick to seal 8IAR against Aberdeen. Gazza, of course, had and still has his off-field issues but he was a genius in a Rangers shirt. We are all very lucky to have witnessed such a superstar in a Rangers shirt and frankly I wish Paul well with his on-going battles. To watch him week in, week out as a youngster at Ibrox was the sort of stuff the younger fans of today could only dream off. He was a flawed genius but he was our flawed genius.Paul Gascoigne - Nothing Short Of Outstanding
