Rangers Women once again showed their relentless side, as they thrashed relegation-threatened Motherwell 0-6 in the Scottish Women's Premier League.

Goals from Chantelle Swaby (23), Chelsea Cornet (26), Zoe Ness (31), Lizzie Arnot (59) and a Kirsten Reilly double (57, 65) sealed the victory for Rangers.

Malky Thomson kept faith with the side that won 11-0 against Forfar Farmington last week, meaning goalkeeper Megan Cunningham kept her place between the sticks for the second week running.

It was centre back Swaby who would open the scoring, as she tapped home Lizzie Arnot's left-wing cross from close range, and Cornet would add the second shortly afterwards when Nicola Docherty's neat pass allowed her to blast beyond the Motherwell 'keeper.

The irresistible Arnot would again torment 'Well's right-hand side, turning Rachel Connor inside out before Ness' controlled and smashed home beyond Ramsay.

Thomson's side would continue in the same vein for the second period and added to their lead when Reilly tapped into the roof of the net after Swaby had seen her header hit the post.

Arnot would beat the offside trap to slide in a well deserved fifth goal, before Reilly grabbed her second, again, from close range.

The win means Rangers know they could go top of the league next week with a win over reigning champions Glasgow City
