Attila struck fear into the heart of the Roman Empire almost 1500 years ago. For five years in the 1990s, Mark Hateley did the same to defences throughout Scotland, and was rewarded with five league winners medals. He bullied opponents incessantly, but there was far more to his game than brawn. He was a great passer of the ball, and his headers had both power and direction. We will forever remember his famous brace against Aberdeen in 1991, which clinched the title at Ibrox, but also no one can doubt the love he still has for our club.
