Ally McCoist - Scotland's Greatest Striker

Ally McCoist is without question the greatest Scottish striker of modern times. 

For fans my age he is our Rangers striker. The first of his record 27 goals in Old Firm games came 27 seconds into his first Glasgow derby; which coincidentally was my first.

For fifteen years he did what he did best; 355 times in total. A record that will take an exceptional talent to overhaul. 

Most striking for me is the grudging admiration other clubs fans have for his goal scoring prowess; a man with bags of personality and a goals record the envy of many.
